I've been busy. These are some of the things that happened in the last few days.

My First Communion

I had my First Holy Communion this Saturday. May 3. I did the First Reading in front of the whole church. My teacher said I did a wonderful job and she couldn't believe how good I read. At practice I was really nervous but during Church I wasn't quite so nervous. My veil fell off on my way up to the pedestal and they moved the pedestal so I went up the wrong way and Father had the microphone up to loud at first. I did a good job though after all of that happened though.



I wore my sister Alexis dress that my mom had made for her but my mom made me my own veil. Everybody said I looked beautiful!



My Grandma Jo sent me a really pretty bracelet and jewelry box from another country and my sister gave me some pretty white flowers. The church gave me a rosary and mom and dad gave me some new earrings to wear and a big book of prayers.



I received the bread and the wine. The wine didn't taste very good though. I received the bread and wine again today at mass. It was a special day!
